Subscription terms

Last updated: 17 October 2026. Draft pending legal review. These terms apply only to the subscription bought on this website. Purchases and rentals on the MQL5 Market follow the MQL5 terms.

1. Who you contract with

The software and the licence are provided by SBP PROGRAMĂRI S.R.L., Romania, Trade Register number J2019001052082, CUI 40758358 ("we", "us"). The payment is handled by Link, a service of Stripe, which acts as the seller of record (merchant of record) for the payment: Link charges your card, calculates and collects any VAT or sales tax, issues your receipt and manages your subscription billing. Link's own terms apply to the payment.

These terms add to our general terms, our privacy policy and the risk disclosure.

Not available in the United States. The subscription is not sold to persons located in the United States or its territories. The checkout is refused to visitors whose connection comes from the United States, and a payment with a billing address there is cancelled and refunded without a licence. By subscribing you confirm that you are not located in the United States and are not subscribing for someone who is. See the terms.

2. What you get

  • A licence to use the direct edition of Opening Bell Nasdaq MT5 on one trading account at a time: a real, demo or prop firm account in MetaTrader 5.
  • All updates published while your subscription is active, including the yearly update of the CME early-close calendar.
  • Support by email at [email protected], about installation and how the program works. We do not give trading or investment advice.

The software is prewritten and the same for every subscriber. It is not customised to you, and we do not trade, hold money or make decisions for you.

3. Price, launch price and renewal

  • Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars. Taxes are added or included at checkout, depending on your country.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) and is charged to the same payment method, until you cancel. Before you pay, the checkout shows the price, the renewal period and that the subscription renews automatically, and you confirm it.
  • Reminders. We send you an email reminder 7 to 30 days before each yearly renewal, and, for monthly subscriptions, at least once every six months. Each reminder states the price, the renewal date and how to cancel.
  • Launch price. If you subscribed at the launch price, that price stays the same for as long as your subscription remains active without interruption. If it ends and you subscribe again later, the price at that time applies.
  • For anyone else, we may change the price for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a renewal at a new price, and you can cancel before it applies.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, as easily as you subscribed: with the Cancel your subscription here button on our website, which works without logging in and offers an ordinary cancellation (at the end of the paid period) or an extraordinary one (with immediate effect, for an important reason), through the subscription management link in your receipt email from Link, or by writing to us. You receive an email confirming the cancellation and its date. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

5. Refunds and right of withdrawal

  • 14 days on your first payment. If you are not satisfied, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, whatever your country and whatever the reason. Your licence is deactivated when the refund is made.
  • This covers the right of withdrawal that consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have for distance contracts, and gives more than the law requires: you keep the full refund even if you have already used the software during those 14 days.
  • How to withdraw. Use the Withdraw from contract here button on our website, which works without logging in, or send us a clear statement by email, for example: "I withdraw from my contract for Opening Bell, licence key ..., ordered on ...". You receive an email confirming the withdrawal.
  • Renewals are not refunded for the part of a period you did not use, unless the law of your country requires it. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
  • Refunds are paid by Link to the original payment method. Link may also refund a payment directly under its own rules; any refund deactivates the licence for the period refunded.

6. The licence

  • The licence is tied to one trading account number. You choose it after payment. You can move the licence to another account up to twice a month by writing to us.
  • The direct edition checks the licence once an hour over the internet with our licence server (https://api.openingbellalgo.com). It sends only what is needed: the licence key, the trading account number, the broker server name and the software version. See the privacy policy.
  • If the licence server cannot be reached, the program keeps working normally for 72 hours from the last successful check.
  • You may not share, resell, copy, decompile or reverse engineer the software, or use one licence on several accounts at the same time.
  • The licence is personal to the subscriber. You may not give or transfer it, or let anyone else use it, in particular a person located in the United States. We are not responsible for use by third parties to whom you gave access in breach of these terms, and we may end such a licence without refund.

7. When a subscription ends

When a subscription ends, is refunded, or the licence cannot be checked for more than 72 hours, the program stops opening new trades. Positions it already opened keep the stop loss and take profit that are at your broker, and the program keeps managing and closing them under its normal rules for as long as it is running. We never close your positions at market because a subscription ended. The panel and the journal show the reason.

8. Free Strategy Tester version

The direct edition runs without a licence in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, so you can test it on your broker's data before paying. It does not trade on live or demo charts without a licence.

9. Availability and changes to the software

We aim to keep the licence server available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service; the 72-hour grace period exists for that reason. We may update the software to fix errors, keep it compatible with MetaTrader 5 and update the CME calendar. Every change is listed in the changelog, with a note when it can change the trades.

10. Trading risk

The subscription buys software, not results. You decide whether and how to use it, on which account and with how much money, and you are responsible for every trade on your account. Past and hypothetical results do not predict future results. Read the risk disclosure.

11. Ending the contract by us

We may end a subscription if the licence is shared or resold, or if payments fail and are not settled. If we stop offering the product, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and refund any period paid in advance and not yet started.

12. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first at [email protected] with any complaint; we answer within two working days.

If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live or in Romania, and we can bring a claim against you only in the courts of the country where you live. For business customers, the courts of Brașov, Romania, have jurisdiction. Consumers can also use the alternative dispute resolution service (SAL) of the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro, or contact the consumer authority of their own country.
